See New Look Of Girl Who Was Attacked By Female Cultists After Undegoing Surgery

The 16-year-old girl, Lilian Friday who was attacked by suspected female cultists believed to be between the ages of 14 to 16 years for refusing to identify and join their cult group in Otuoke community, Ogbia, Bayelsa state – has undergone a successful plastic surgery to her right eyelids that was damaged..

Lilian, a native of Otuoke and Emeyal community in Ogbia local government area of the state, an ss1 student of community secondary school, Otuoke was said to have been attacked by a group of suspected female cultists led by one Josephine on the 26th of April, 2018 for refusing to be one of them.

When members of Patriotism Advancement and Community Orientation Network (PACON) got wind of the incident, they visited the victim and her family on April 26th in the hospital where she was taken to unconscious after the gang left her in a pool of her own blood and with a damaged eye. PACON had promised to assist the family of Lilian with the medical bills and to initiate a public campaign for financial support for Lilian should there be need for plastic surgery.

On the 24th of June, 2018, PACON was informed through a phone call from Mrs. Igbogi Progress (Lilian’s mother) that Lilian had been penciled for a surgical operation on 26th of June, 2018. The amount needed for the operation was Three hundred thousand naira (300,000.00) only at Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH).

The organization with the informed consent and approval of the parents through its social media handles appealed for financial assistance which the public responded to and on 27th of June, same year, the sum of ₦265,000.00 was donated into Mrs. Igbogi Progress, Guarantee Trust Bank account which was made public by the organization.

On the 28th of June, the parents withdrew Lilian from NDUTH due to want of medical equipment to carry out the said surgery to Ark Hospital in Yenagoa were the operation was successfully carried out for a fee of One hundred thousand naira (₦100,000.00) only.

PACON paid Lilian a visit once again in her hometown today, 1st July, 2018. Attached herewith are pictures from the visit with the second photo showing Lilian Friday after the successful surgical operation.
