Media personality and singer Charly Boy has reacted to the drama happening in Ekiti state during this election period.

According to him, there is too much lawlessness in the country. Speaking with Saturday Beats, he said;

“There seems to be an obnoxious lawlessness even from those who parade themselves as leaders, adapting to a different rule of play as against what is constitutionally right.

“The people at the helm of affairs did not come to do democracy with us, they are not concerned about our constitutional rights; everybody is on their own, there is a serious case of injustice in the country and all the regions are affected.

“Until like minds come together and to something about it, this evil will persist.”

While revealing that he had other things occupying his mind at the moment than going into the studio to wax a new record, the 67-year-old called on all hands to be on deck to save the future of young people in Nigeria.

He said, “My main concern right now is on how to salvage the future of young Nigerians.

“I am concerned with the oppression of very talented and good Nigerians who want to express themselves, who want to do something for the country but the right kind of environment is not created for them.

“I urge young musicians to know that it is time for them to think about what is happening to their fellow citizens and use their songs as a tool to speak against the negative things happening in the country.

“They should realise that God has given them the special talent and they must use it positively to uplift humanity.”
