Kunbi, the late Nigerian OAP’s bestie who confirmed the incident disclosed that there was no indication that she was going to commit suicide.

OAP N6, who also reacted to the news of death of the 2017 UNILAG graduate who interned under him, also disclosed that she never gave any hint of depression, as she was always smiling and jovial, a claim corroborated by many people who knew her. His tweets reads;

Just Received News that my Intern Committed Suicide. Sharp, Pretty Young Girl tho a bit Reserved, Just did NYSC with her whole Life ahead of Her. I’m Numb & My Hands are Shaking. Depression is Real. Pls speak to Someone & Seek Help. RIP Pelumi. Heaven has no more Pain.

I even had a longgg chat with her on Saturday, gave her Tips & Pointers to being a Broadcaster & gave her an Assignment she is to submit this Saturday. She was so Excited & Full of Life. Not an Inkling of a Clue to her Mental State. Ive never felt this Helpless before.

To my Fellow Radio Family I did not mean our Popular Pelumi S. This was a new Lady attached solely to my Saturday Show. Sorry if I might have caused a slight Panic. Cheers!

Pelumi on the other hand, left a cryptic message for her followers on Twitter. Her tweet read;

Lol I really need to go, sigh

the bad energy that needs to stay far away… disaster. I’m sorry.

The late Oluwapelumi Orungbe’s friend, Banjo Taiye who also reacted to news of her death, wrote;

I lost a friend today. Her smile was priceless, so full of life. She had everyone’s back. As I stood at her graveside I could only imagine what she must have gone through.

We chase fame, money and other things, only to realise that everything is just going to end with a three letter word R.I.P. so it’s up to us to make our days count.

Let’s always take out time to check on our friend’s. There is a lot going on the inside, because we smile doesn’t mean we are really okay. Money isn’t everything, she was comfortable.?

Depression is real.
Rest in peace Oluwapelumi Orungbe.
