Chris Brown is pushing through tumultuous times. “Pills & Automobiles,” featuring Kodak Black, A Boogie wit da Hoodie & Yo Gotti, came out in 2017 with a colorful music video that also has a massive presence, attracting 215,212,159 views on Youtube and counting. The single, which appears on Chris Brown’s Heartbreak On A Full Moon LP, was produced The Martianz, Smash David & OG Parker.

With the number of hands on deck, one can assume that the glorious streaming milestone might not translate into hefty profits for Chris Brown. As previously reported, recording artists only retain a sliver of income earned from mechanical rights, racking in an average of 12% of the  $43 billion US market in 2017. However, the future is bright for the 29-year old. Chris Brown has recently retrieved the ownership of his masters, becoming the youngest recording artist to do so. His feat surely entails a more substantial piece of the cash pie for the R&B singer’s forthcoming releases.
