Andrew Turnbull accident: Andrew Turnbull East London has been involved in a fatal accident that left two people dead and another seriously injured.

The horror accident happened outside Port Alfred on Sunday May 12th, 2019 afternoon.

Andrew Turnbull accident:

Andrew Turnball accident, according to transport department spokesperson Khuselwa Rantjie, occurred on the R72 near Port Alfred in the direction of Kenton-On-Sea.

 Rantjie said:

“Two vehicles collided head on at about 2.30pm. Two occupants were declared dead on the scene (driver and a passenger) and one sustained critical injuries.

“A Mercedes Benz with two occupants, including the driver, was travelling from Port Alfred and collided with a Jaguar travelling from Kenton. The number of occupants in the Jaguar has not been confirmed.”

Rantjie added:

“It’s alleged that driving at high speed may have contributed to the incident. Local authorities will continue with further investigations.”

The Jaguar involved in the crash belongs to Andrew Turnbull. The injured were taken to Port Alfred hospital for treatment.

Who the dead were have not been publicly identified yet.

A lady on Turnbull’s Facebook page said Turnbull had been taken to hospital in Port Elizabeth with serious injuries.

Andrew Turnbull’s accident is happening after he was released on bail for allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend‚ Chere Gray.

Back in 2018, a video showing Turnbull allegedly assaulting his then girlfriend, Chere Gray, went viral. Gray’s cousin had filmed the ordeal, which got on social media and went viral.

Turnbull would later try to explain the situation by saying he lost his cool and grabbed Chere Gray by the collar because she ‘relapses’ and went on a shopping spree with his credit card.

Andrew was given bail, but the Randburg Magistrate’s Court reportedly found out Turnbull had two prior convictions. In 2000, it is reported he was sentenced and fined R1‚500 for speeding and on another occassion, he was convicted of drug possession and fined R2k.
