What you eat during Ramadan is very vital, as its something that involves spiritual activities, there are two types of food that are knows clearly to muslims during Ramadan and most of them already know that just one is the best food to eat during Ramadan.

The 2 types of food are Halaal and Harma Food, these two phrases “Hallal” and “Harma” means something meaningful.

Halaal- Allowed

Harma- Forbidden

So Hallal food is allowed food and Harma Food is Forbidden Food.

So you being part of the Islamic religion want to do well to eat only Halaal food, and this will help you to avoid eating something forbidden.

What to eat:

There are 2 types of Halaal food called :

  1. Suhoor

 

2. Iftar

The Suhoor and Iftar food contains fresh fruits and vegetables, Halaal meat, bread and also sweets.

The Suhoor meal is usully served in the morning before dawn and iftar is served after sunset

The principle behind this is Suhoor should be one that provides energy for usage during the day, in fact it is surely going to be very health food for the day.

At the end of the day when the sun has set the fast that was carried out during the day is broken by iftar. Many Muslims decide to eat dates before they eat the iftar

Suhor:

What if you fast and you want to know if it’s good for you?

Well when you eat Suphor you most likely fast till after Sunset and eat iftar to break the fast

But is that good for you?

Well while we don’t condemn fasting, we reocommend that if you have some health complications you don’t do it.

Fasting for such long period causes dehydration and energy loss, even though you ate the food filled with energy (Suphor) before Dawn it isn’t good to keep your stomach that empty for long.

Why?

When you are dehydrated it causes headache, tiredness and you can’t concentrate.

So imagine if you are Fasting and meditaing at the same time, and you loose concentration because of dehydration, its not good for those WHO HAVE MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS.
