A couple of hours ago, pro-democracy activist and the convener of #RevolutionNow Protests Omoyele Sowore was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services.
Reports have it that Sowore was picked up at his apartment at about 1 am.
Sowore managed to tweet about the arrest at exactly 1:25 am and according to an eyewitness, his phone was forcefully taken from him.
The tweet read, ” DSS invades Sowore’s”.
Deji Adeyanju has since taken to Twitter to share his conversation with a ‘Lagos SUG leader’ who claims to have witnessed the arrest.
