There was good news for Ghanaian football fans on Sunday as Black Stars midfielder returned to action after three months out with a serious injury.

Kudus completed his return with a late substitute appearance for Ajax in their entertaining draw against PSV.

The talented player was forced to sit at home for three months due to meniscus tear in his knee. He suffered the injury six minutes into his Champions League debut against Liverpool in October.

Ajax said he would be out for many months but he returned to training in December. Kudus, however, had to wait until January to get his chance.

Kudus joined Ajax for a reported fee of 9 million euros from Nordsjaelland.
