A Nigerian lady has shared with her Twitter followers wads of Biafran notes she found in her father’s house.
The lady identified as Chioma posted photos of the clean notes and coins used during the nation’s civil war that lasted from 6 July 1967 to 15 January 1970.
Posting the photos online on Twitter. she wrote; ”Found ancient Biafran currencies in my fathers house !
These notes are over 60 years old and quite beautiful to say the leastBiafran pounds and shillings50kobo and one Naira notes.
Throwback to when these notes had value”
