Peter Obi Speaks On Choice Of Running Mate Ahead Of 2023 Elections

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the labor party has made his choice of running mate clear to all the people of Nigeria. On Wednesday, he revealed that he would love to have a very young individual as his running mate in the forthcoming presidential election.

Peter Obi is believed to have made the statement a few days after Kwankwaso made it clear that he can not become a running mate to Peter Obi because the north has already decided on who they would give their votes and support to in 2023.

Kwankwaso had also stated that he is giving Peter Obi a golden opportunity to become his running mate in the forthcoming presidential election.

According to a report from Vanguard News, a statement was made by Kwankwaso a few days ago.

He revealed that the people in the NNPP would not be happy if he drops his presidential ambition to support Peter Obi because they are all affected by what is currently happening in Nigeria and they need a good leader like himself to make good changes to things.

Speaking about Peter Obi, Kwankwaso added that Peter Obi should gladly accept to be his running mate because he is giving him a big opportunity which he should accept before it is too late.

Kwankwaso said ” Of course, the other side wouldn’ t want that. Most of the people from there believe that the president has to go there. If I decide to be a vice- presidential candidate for anybody in this country, NNPP will collapse, because the party is based on what we have built in the last 30 years. “
