Liverpool cruised to their second successive away victory in the EPL as they thumped Aston Villa 0-2 at the Villa Park on Saturday in one of the day’s thrilling fixtures.

A goal in each half saw the Reds running away with another crucial three points even as they extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to six matches.

Fabio Borini got Liverpool going with his 25thminute strike before substitute Rickie Lambert sealed victory with his 79thgoal.

At Turf Moor, there was so much drama as Dwight Gayle scored a dramatic late winner as Crystal Palace came from two goals down to beat Burnley 3-2.

Alan Pardew’s men held their nerves having gone down to two quick goals inside 17 minutes.

Ben Mee nodded the hosts in front after 13 minute and Burnley were two goals up four minutes later when Danny Ings found the back of the net.

However that was how good it went for the hosts as Palace began their revival in 29thminute when Dwight Gayle pulled one goal back.

The second half was just three minutes old when Palace drew back on level terms through Jason Puncheon and the final blow was delivered in the 88thminute through the man that started it Gayle.

Palace have now jumped to 12thspot with the crucial away win.

There was also joy for Nigeria’s Victor Moses who helped Stoke City to a 0-1 win against Leicester while Tottenham Hotspurs relied on a last gasp effort to beat Sunderland 2-1.
