Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o will return to Serie A with Sampdoria after completing his medical with the Genoese club on Sunday.
The striker has most recently been playing for Everton but has also represented Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Chelsea. Now the 33-year-old veteran will add Sampdoria to that list.
“Successful Medical,” Eto’o tweeted. “Ready for a new Challenge!”
Samp are 5th in Serie A and fighting for Champions League qualification. They face Palermo at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.
