The Code of Conduct Tribunal has fixed November 9 for the arraignment of a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsdey Orubebe, on a four-count charge bordering on breach of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.

Mr. Orubebe almost derailed the 2015 presidential election when he disrupted the announcement of results after he accused the former INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega, of bias.

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has now served Mr. Orubebe a summon directing him to appear before it to face corruption charges.

A statement by the spokesperson of the Tribunal, Ibraheem Al-hassan, on Friday, said the charges were filed on October 8, 2015 by Peter Danladi of Code of Conduct Bureau, on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation.”
