Mikel John Obi has returned to Chelsea, after helping Nigeria’s U-23 team win bronze at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil.
The Chelsea midfielder was the Dream Team VI’s captain, scoring once and laying on four assists, as Samson Siasia’s men won the country’s only medal.
He is now back at Stamford Bridge, where he will battle for a starting place under new manager, Antonio Conte.
“Back in the UK. Now hard work with #C FC begins. Eleven seasons, Eleven trophies and I’m not done yet,” Mikel Obi wrote on Twitter.
Chelsea have won their first two Premier Leagues and host Burnley at this Saturday.
