Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti thinks that his team is ready for El Clasico after getting back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Levante at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Two goals from Gareth Bale gave Madrid their first win of the month to keep them just one point behind league leaders Barcelona before the two teams meet at Camp Nou on Sunday.
“We controlled the game,” Ancelotti said. “I think the first half was good, we played well with good intensity, good quality.”In the second half, we were more relaxed, playing flatter.
I’ll take the first half as a base to improve from. The first half tonight gives me confidence; I’m a bit worried about the second half.
“We’re going to the Camp Nou with as much confidence as is possible. We need to be at our best and at our best we can win.”
