The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja will today deliver judgment in Senate President Bukola Saraki’s matter.
The Senate president, who is standing trial on a 13-count charge of false assets declaration before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), appealed the tribunal’s decision to try him.
The appellate court, after taking arguments from both parties on October 16, fixed judgment for 2pm on October 19.
But the judgment was reserved indefinitely.
It was learnt yesterday that notices have been sent to the parties informing them about today’s date.
The delay by the Court of Appeal to deliver its judgment stalled proceedings before the CCT, which at its last sitting, chose to await the appellate court’s decision before taking any further steps in Saraki’s trial.
