This December, we will see 6 rounds of Barclays Premier League action in what is always a crucial stage of the season.
Standout fixtures include Manchester United vs Everton (4th December) where Wayne Rooney will
face his old club – Wayne Rooney and Manchester United to win is currently odds of 8/1 At the weekend, Southampton host Man City.
Southampton have impressed everyone so far this season but have faced Arsenal and Chelsea in
consecutive weeks which has seemingly knocked the wind from their sails.
Despite brilliant home form, Man City have been far from consistent on their travels, losing their last 2
away fixtures to Sunderland and Chelsea; so a long journey south after a mid-week fixture could prove
difficult to say the least and 10/3 on Southampton taking the surprise 3 points is rather generous considering the signings they have made and the
start they have made to this campaign (just 3 losses).
The fixture of the month has to be Man City v Arsenal on the 14th December. Arsenal have made
a fine start to this campaign and currently top the Barclays Premier League.
Manchester City have looked impressive in some games but have lost 4 of their opening 13 and this
fixture could be definitive on how their season will pan out going into 2014.
