The high court in Ondo has sentenced Seidu Adeyemi to death by hanging for killing his girlfriend, Khadijah Oluboyo, who was the daughter of former deputy governor of the state.
Khadijah was a final year student of the Adekunle Ajasin University (AAU), Akugba-Akoko, when she was killed.
The deceased’s body was found inside a shallow grave in the room of her killer boyfriend at his Oke Aro area of Akure residence on July 2, 2018.
Khadijat was lured to the residence by Adeyemi and was reportedly killed for ritual purpose by the convict said to be an Abuja-based Internet fraudster.
