The leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 released a new video where he claimed responsibility for Nyanya bombing which occurred on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Abuja.

The terrorists leader boasted that he is in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and dares security officials to catch him if they can.

In the 28 minute video, Shekau appeared in his usual manner dressed in military uniform and carrying an AK-47 rifle slung across his chest.

He also held in his right hand a thick chewing stick with a spiral-bound notepaper in his left.

He began his speech by saying, while pointing to the chewing stick, “President Goodluck Jonathan, President Goodluck Jonathan, President Goodluck Jonathan, you are just too small”.

“We are the ones who carried out the bombing in Abuja in an area called Nyanya. [President] Jonathan you are a lame duck. Jonathan, you are too small for us”, he added.

“You (Jonathan) should know that we are worshipping God, that is why we are always victorious in all our attacks; if you are that wise and knowledgeable, why is it still very difficult for you to locate where we are up till date despite the fact that we are within Nigeria. Look at us, we are right within your city (Abuja), and you don’t even know how to find us. Let me tell you now; I am here, very close to you; I dare you to get me, if you can”, Shekau said.

The video ended with footage from the scene of the Nyanya bomb explosion
