A company has developed a female condom it claims can make a woman orgasm every time. The new condom, called the VA w.o.w, has a heart or star-shaped vibrating sleeve which allegedly can bring a woman to orgasm during Se.x. The sleeve also keeps the condom from slipping too far into the vagina, its makers claim.
The new condom, being developed by IXu LLC, a Michigan-based condom company, can be inserted into the vagina up to eight hours before Se.x. It carried out a survey of the new condoms on 50 couples and found that 70 per cent of women had an orgasm the first time they used VA w.o.w. By the second use, 84 per cent of women had been brought to orgasm, and by the fourth use, 100 per cent of the women had achieved success.
The rate of orgasm for women by the fourth time of use was 100 percent. It was a higher orgasm rate for women than even for men,’ IXu’s Brian Osterberg told the Daily Dot. ‘It just goes to show how powerful the technology is. ‘Now, iXu is looking for manufacturers to bring the products to global markets. It has been awarded five patents to create a new breed of condoms which combine regular latex sheaths – which protect against pregnancy and STDs – with miniature electronic intimacy gadgets. The company wants to create ‘wearable tech’ condoms.
A spokesperson for the company said in future, the condoms could be connected to smartphones and controlled remotely. The condom, called the VA w.o.w., has a heart or star-shaped ring which vibrates and can induce an orgasm. The condom can be inserted up to eight hours before Se.x and protects against pregnancy and STI
In a statement, an IXu spokesperson said: ‘One could communicate and control the condom (by wireless remote, smart phone etc) while the condom perform various stimulating functions; vibe/pulse sensations, sound, heat and light emissions. ‘Various health-related agencies have reported that men prefer female condoms rather than male condoms, according to IXu.
But women preferred to use male condoms, it said. Therefore, it hoped they have solved the problem by making a female condom ‘women preferred to use rather than male condoms’.
