Chelsea is now three points away from being confirmed Premier League champions, after their 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Monday night.

Diego Costa, Marcos Alonso and Nemanja Matic were all on target at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea moved a step closer to the title.

The win extends the Blues’ series of successes against Boro to seven without conceding a single goal

Antonio Conte’s men will be crowned champions, if they are able to win at West Brom on Friday.

However, it was bad news for Boro, who have now dropped back into the Championship, after only one year in the top flight.
