Computer-based test: JAMB extends closing date to March 31

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has extended the deadline for the sale of application forms for the Computer Based Test, CBT, to Monday, 31st March, 2014.

The body in a statement issued on Thursday by its Public Relations Officer, Fabian Benjamin in Abuja, explained that the extension would enable students who could not register for Paper Pencil Test (PPT) mode do so.

JAMB added that it would ensure that every Nigerian is given equal educational opportunity.

According to the terse statement, “The Board wishes to state that it would shut its site after the expiration of this new date to allow for proper logistics and planning in preparation for the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Computer Based Test mode scheduled to begin from May 17.
“Candidates are therefore advised to avail themselves of this opportunity the extension has provided”.
