On Saturday, September 20 in Lagos, Moet & Chandon, in concert with, The 960 Music Group will toast peerless Nigerian artiste Dammy Krane, as he announces the long awaited official release of his 1st studio album ‘The Enterkraner’.
Often referred to as the major exponent of “21st Century Fuji”, Dammy Krane has helped add diversity to the Nigerian music landscape since bursting on the scene with infectious and celebratory anthems such as Amin, My Dear, In case of Incasity featuring Davido, Ligali featuring Pasuma and many other great songs.
The glitzy intimate event will be the third installment in the 2014 Moët Rosé Nights series. Earlier this year, the series hosted fellow label-mate and music icon, 2Face Idibia during his ‘Ascension’ release party where he was presented with a crystallized 3L Jerobaom of Moet Nectar Rose by Brand Manager, Ann Ogunsulire.
These series of activities are part of Moet & Chandon’s global campaign tagged ‘Success is a Matter of Style’. Just like ‘The Enterkraner’, Moet Nectar Rose brings the perfect expression of a bold and energetic sensation.
“The Enterkraner” has been hailed by music critics for its distinctive sound and style that at times harkens back to the late 1980’s experimental Fuji music scene.
The launch party will feature veteran DJ Jimmy Jatt, and it also premieres the “In Case Of Incasity” music video featuring Davido (directed by Clarence Peters).
“The Enterkraner”, has been released on Spotify, iTunes and Spinlet. Mark Redguard, the CEO of The 960 Music Group, said the digital album has exceeded online expectations, and as a way of saying Thank You to Dammy’s fans and celebrating the birthday of his label boss, 2Face Idibia – the album will be FREE on Spinlet.com on 2Face’s birthday – Thursday, 18th of September, 2014.
The Enterkraner CD hits the streets on Thursday, 18th of September.
