The moment the CEO of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu walked out at an event where Davido was performing, was one of the unforgettable moments of 2016. The singer was performing his famous line from Humblesmith‘s Osinachi remix, where he said “Dele na my boy,” referring to the elderly man.
The singer and the revered media personality had a face-off following the circumstances surrounding the singer and his baby mama, Sophie Momodu, who happens to be a relative of the media mogul. It was said that Davido did not welcome the interference of Mr. Momodu in his relationship with his baby mama and his daughter, Imade. The reported animosity between the two became obvious as more and more instances of unfriendly exchanges occured between the two.
However, it appears Davido has reconciled with Dele Momodu, as pictures of the two sharing a hug at the recently held Ovation Christmas Carol, were shared by the Ovation Magazine boss with the caption;
“True reconciliation, great joy… God bless DAVIDO… God bless DR ADEDEJI ADELEKE for his uncommon maturity… God bless the MOMODU family for that simple heart… We are a family… “
