On 4th March 2015 wednsday morning the frustrated and unfair treated department of computer science of imo state university went for a peaceful protest against the frustrating decisions been imposed on them by their Head of department in the person of Dr chukwudi Igbe who hails from abia state..
The 300level student attested that he told and ordered them to a particular I.T center of their industrial training of which at the centre each of them will pay N50,000.The same students who will go for I.T in less than 2months from now have not seen their first and second semester results of 200level
The just graduated final year students also complained that the have not done their project defence while they are suppose to be ready to enroll for this batch NYSC list and the current 400level have not defended their I.T.
The now 300level students also said that the HOD said he will remove 20marks from the result of their CSC262 course due to mass good performance.
An Anonymous also said the man told the students that none of them should write not more than 24unit load against the 27unit load approved by the university senate…the students of computer science are pleading to the Dean faculty of sciences The VC imo state university and his excellency Owelle Rochas okorocha to please ensure that their is Change in computer science to enable them enjoy the free education program of his excellency the Governor of imo state owelle anayo Rochas okorocha
The man is an evil man. If by at last the students graduates with 3rd class their parents go dey shout without knowing that the problem is from their stupid HOD
