Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is keen on making history as he seeks to win his fifth FA Cup with his London-based club.

Jose Mourinho’s side are on course to win a historic quadruple this season, after reaching the semi-final of the League Cup, the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, while also sitting in top spot on the Premier League table after 20 games. Drogba, who returned to Stamford Bridge from Turkish-side Galatasaray at the beginning of the season, has already won the world’s oldest cup competition in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012 and is hopeful of helping his teammates reach the final again in 2015 as the tournament kicks-off on Sunday.

“We have to do it together. We want to achieve something great and I think that is why we have played well this season,” Drogba told his club’s official website.

“I hope at the end of it we will be able to say together we won this trophy, this trophy and this trophy.

“And yes, I would love to win another FA Cup. I would love to win it for the club and for the fans as well.

“I know the feeling the fans have when we get to a final.
“We share the same feeling. It would be nice to go back to Wembley together again and make history,” added the Ivorian.

The Blues face Championship-side Watford FC in the third round of the FA Cup.
