A petition for the International Criminal Court to arrest the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has garnered over 50,000 signatures.
The petition seeks his arrest as innocent Nigerians were killed under his watch. This is coming just after the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu dissolved the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) yesterday.
However, a gazillion of policemen and soldiers besieged Ogbomoso in Oyo State and shot a teenager while two others are critically wounded. A citizen, Amadi Chima took to change.org to petition Mohammed Adamu to International Criminal Court for unleasing war against defenseless and innocent Nigerian youths whose only crimes was demanding an end to extortions, harassments, illegal arrests, detentions, and wanton killings by the rogue police unit, SARS.‘
