Concerning the trending issue on social media about Innoson motors CEO and GT Bank saga. The bank have decided to release a press statement to clear the air. The statement was released via their twitter handle.
‘The attention of guarantee trust bank PLC has been drawn to publications in the news and social media which supports that customers of the bank are closing their accounts with the bank, and urging the bank’s esteemed customers to withdraw their money from the bank as a result of this.
These statement are completely false, baseless and malicious. The bank operations remain stable and we will continue too serve all our customers guided by our values of excellence, integrity and professionalism. The bank therefore advises the general public to disregard rumours, innuendos and false statements that are being spread by mischievous elements, both in the news and on social, media.
The bank remains committed to providing best-in-class customers experience to all its valued customers.

I don’t get it. This man is accusing GTB of theft and victimization. He released a video to butress high claim. We are eagerly waiting for GTB to release a statement to agree or counter his claim. Instead they are responding to actions and words of people who felt offended by GTB action against innoson. This is a complete corporate recklessness and insult to our sensenbility. We can then say that their silence is a sign of owning up to innoson claims. Am more convinced that the right thing to do is to close my account with them and this should be a a lesson to other corporate vampires like dstv,NEPA, gsm networks etc.
