Official producer to the Davido music worldwide label, Fresh, has added another feather to his cap of feats with his recent announcement as the winner in the Producer of the Year category on the platform of the 5thAFRIMA Awards.
Fresh emerged winner in the category that was highly contested for with nominations that cut across African regions from some of the finest hands in Nigeria (Killertunes, Northboi), Ghana (GuiltyBeatz), South Africa (Makwa 6eats), Tanzania (Laizer Classic), Ethiopia and the Democratic Republique of Congo (DJ Maphorisa).
His nomination for the song ‘FIA’ by Davido, is a multiple award-winning music production, which was released in the dusk of the year 2017 later growing across regions and borders, resulting into a series of musical covers and two official remixes from American singer/songwriter, R. Kelly and British rapper, Stefflon Don. The positive commercial reception and multiple-award status of ‘FIA’ has earned Fresh some well-deserving accolades further etching his name in history as one of the baddest producers of our time.
