Centers of isolation for patients of the deadly Ebola virus have been set up and running at the Mainland Hospital in Lagos State.

Our correspondent visited the hospital this afternoon saw the isolated portion in premises of the hospital at Yaba, Lagos State. At the isolated center are tents, under which the patients are camped and fenced in with planks.

The reporter met some health workers, who complained about water not running at the hospital, though they were advised to wash as regularly as every one hour.

Security men at the hospital have prevented usual movements through the facility. As there is no known cure for the virus as yet, the patients have been quarantined and their conditions will be monitored.
