Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan may have made a name for himself as an actor and now reaping the fruits of his labour as a director. Though still an actor, he believes that as humans, there is the weak side of man which should be endured.
While responding to how he has been able to motivate his casts towards achieving a quality outcome in his movie productions, the award winning actor explained that he has been able to give his cast the most respect they deserve but noted that it has not been all rosy.
He revealed to TNS in an interview that his movie ‘October 1’ was a hectic movie because he had to caution some of his casts about their delivery that he even had to walk out one of his respected cast, Sadiq Bada out of set after a serious confrontation.
According to him, “Maybe because I’m human. There is also this thing called “owo” (respect). I give people the kind of respect that I want from them. But it is usually not all rosy on set. On October 1, Uncle Sadiq and I had a confrontation where I walked him out of my set. But if you go and talk to him today, he will never relate that part of the job because it made us stronger. Everybody has got their weaknesses.”
