Nigeria’s young forwards, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi  Iheanacho made the UEFA Golden Boy shortlist for 2016. Alex  Iwobi plays for North London club, Arsenal while Iheanacho plays for Manchester City.

Both forwards were on the scoresheet on Sunday as Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 in their first 2018 World Cup Qualifying Encounter.
