The Independent National Elector*l Commission, INEC, has declared the December 5th governorship election in Bayelsa state inconclusive following the cancellation of the voting in Southern Ijaw local government area of BAYELSA STATE.
The elector*l body decided to cancel the election in this particular Local government area because of violence, abduction of elector*l officials and ballot box snatching during the election. A new date for a rerun is yet to be announced by INEC.
