Innoson Motors CEO Rejects Release From EFCC

The chief executive officer (CEO) of Innoson Group, Innocent Chukwuma, has reportedly rejected his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-graft agency had earlier announced his release on bail following allegations that Chukwuma, used forged documents to secure tax waivers.

However, Innoson revealed that the billionaire Industrialist rejected the bail on grounds that he was not aware of the reason for his arrest.

In a tweet via the Company’s tweeter handle, they confirmed, Innocent Chukwuma rejected the bail.

The tweet reads: ”Innoson has refused his release because he is demanding to know the reason for his arrest.”
