22-year-old Joan Olu-Ebun Fabikun has emerged winner of the 2014 Miss Black West Africa UK. Fabikun, who played the lead girl in the ‘So many tinz‘ and ‘Girlie O’ videos by May D and Patoranking, beat over 10 other contestants to win the coveted title on Saturday, September 6 2014. She is of a mixed heritage, comprising a background that is of a half English, half Irish father and a Nigerian mother and was raised by her great aunt in Milton Keynes, UK
