Remarkable Nigerian music producer LeriQ, has been featured on the cover of the prestigious Vanguard Allure magazine. The magazine issue will be available nationwide on Sunday 18th January and chronicles the rise of the producer from his early days and how his sound and style of music has impacted the industry..
The issue will feature chronicles of the rise of Leriq from his early days, how his sound and style of music has evolved and how much impact he has had on the new phase of Nigerian music.
The Aristokrat Records producer has been in the spotlight since his amazing work on the revolutionary L.I.F.E album by Burna Boy. He was arguably the most active producer in Nigeria throughout 2014; producing four (4) mixtapes for all the Aristokrat artistes; Pukie The Great (Pucado), The Audition (Kamar Tachio), Superiority Complex (Ozone) and Westernised West African (Mojeed). Leriq was also credited for producing a few songs off 2Face Idibia’s “The Ascension” and Dammy Krane’s “The Enterkraner” albums.
Leriq’s numerous works and distinct style has ushered in a new era of Afro-Fusion and he has on several occasions been cited describing his sound as “The Lost Sounds”, eponymous to his forthcoming debut album which will feature A-list musicians all over Africa.
TLS – ‘The Lost Sounds’ is set for release in February, 2015.
