Bradford City came from behind to cause the shock of the FA Cup fourth round with a stunning 4-2 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It looked like the magic of the FA Cup had already come and gone as Cambridge held Manchester United on Friday night, but League One Bradford City had other ideas.

Jose Mourinho rung the changes for the Premier League leaders as they looked to keep their chances of winning the quadruple alive, but the starting XI should have had more than enough quality to beat Phil Parkinson’s side comfortably.

It looked like that would be the case in the first half as the Blues created chance after chance and stormed into a two-goal lead inside 38 minutes.

Gary Cahill opened the scoring after just 20 minutes with a near-post finish from a corner before Ramires finished off a fabulous team move seven minutes before half-time.

The home fans thought it was party time already but Bradford had other ideas and Jon Stead got them back in the game with a curling finish from outside the area.

The second half almost defied belief as Bradford struck three more times to complete a stunning turnaround as Chelsea crumbled.

The equaliser arrived with just 15 minutes left on the clock with former Chelsea youngster Filipe Morais turning home from 10 yards out.

The travelling fans were already in dreamland as they hoped their side could hold on to take Chelsea back to West Yorkshire for a replay, but it just got better and better from there.

Andy Halliday rifled home from the edge of the box after a neat one-two with Stead to give them the lead with seven minutes to go.

The fourth official indicated seven minutes of added time and Mourinho and his side had a reprieve, but they couldn’t take it.

In the 94th minute Bradford made it 4-2 through substitute Mark Yeates as he hammered home after more good work from the impressive Stead. The defeat ends Chelsea’s bid to win the quadruple this season.
