Manchester United Saturday evening at the Old Trafford cruised to an impressive 3-1 over Leicester to keep their Champions league return intact.
Goals from from Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao and an own goal from Wes Morgan was more than enough for the Red Devils to seal another three points at home.
RVP registered the first goal of the game in the 27thminute moments after he had missed a begging chance.
The goal did prove to be the right tonic for United as moments later, Falcao doubled United’s advantage before Morgan’s own goal made it three for the Red Devils just before the break.
The Foxes who surprised United in the reverse fixture found it difficult to replicate such heroics on Saturday and even though Marcin Wasilewski grabbed a late consolation for the visitors it was too little too late as United held on through to finish the game 3-1.
