Nigerian transfer guru, Michael Emenalo has been sacked by Monaco from his role as sporting director just a day after Arsenal legend Thierry Henry
was dismissed as the club’s manager.
The 53-year-old who joined Monaco in 2017 after quitting his role as technical director at Chelsea was dismissed by the Ligue 1 side after just 20 games with the club.
Emenalo had reportedly fallen out with Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev following Monaco’s poor run of form in the league which has seen them sitting one point off the bottom of the table.
The French club have now reappointed
Leonardo Jardim who was initially sacked for Theirry Henry to come in. He is now expected to save the club from relegation.
