Nasarawa State University is playing host to the accreditation panel from the National Universities Commission, who are in the institution to inspect and peer review a number of programmes.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed while welcoming the team, described accreditation exercise as very vital, as it helps in the improvement of academic standards in the university system.
He assured the team of the maximum support of the University to discharge this mandate.
The team will inspect programmes in the following Departments;
1. Agricultural Education
2. Christian Religious Study Education.
3. Islamic Religious Study Education.
4. English Education.
5. French Education.
6. History Education.
7. Home Economics Education.
8. Social Studies Education
9. Environmental Management Resources.
10. Mathematics.
11. Psychology.
