Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has been named in the Major League Soccer team of the week.
The Seattle Sounders forward scored one goal and provided one assist as his side whipped New England Revolution 3-0 in the opening week of the league. His teammate Clint Dempsey was also on the shortlist.
