Lagos State residents took to the streets of Lagos to march in support of the presidential campaign of General Muhammudu Buhari.
The All Progressives Party in Lagos state announced that the march was organised“to psychologically prepare the minds of our voters and give a psychological defeat to the opposition”.
The march, tagged “One Million Man March”, which was spearheaded by Governor Fashola; Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola; the Lagos state APC governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode; and the vice-presidential candidate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, took the route of Maryland through Allen Avenue and ended up behind Shoprite, Alausa.
The march was inaugurated by the former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The march was also led through Ikorodu Road and dominated the Yaba, Fadeyi, Somolu, Obanikoro, Ketu, Idi-Oro areas of the Lagos mainland metropolis.

Meanwhile, before the march, Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, described the One Million Man March in Lagos as a plot by the APC to cause chaos in the state.
