Photo Of SS1 Student Caught Wearing Amulet In Ogun School
A Secondary School student has been apprehended after he was seen wearing amulet.
The teenager identified as Bankole Kamoli was arrested by So-Safe, an Ogun State-owned security outfit for wearing an amulet to school.
Reports had it that the boy is a student of Alapoti High School in the Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.
The young boy who is in the Senior Secondary School I (SS1) was caught in the jungle by the local security outfit.
Kamoli was reportedly found guilty of smoking, drinking, gambling, and committing other criminal activities while in his school uniform.
The security men are said to have dragged the teenager back to school after arresting him with the spiritual material known in the Yoruba language as ‘Igbadi’.
When contacted, the school principal, Mrs Orenuga F B, rejected the boy as being a student of the school, insisting that Kamoli had failed to invite his parents to the school to sign the undertaking form as directed by the state government.
“The boy is no longer a student of the school because he was not available with his parents to sign the undertaking form as directed by the state government,” the Punch quoted the principal as saying.
On his part, the Commander of Ogun State So -Safe Corps, Soji Ganzallo said the culprit has been arrested and is with the men of So-Safe Corps in Ado Odo Ota.
When contacted for reaction, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the police command is yet to be briefed on the development.
