Man U beat Tottenham 0-1 on Sunday night, blowing the top four face wide open, while also denying Tottenham’s Premier League title plans in the process.
A goal from Rashford after a swashbuckling pass from Paul Pogba, was enough for a Manchester United to win the match despite heavy pressure from a Tottenham team unlucky in the second half to not score against Man U.

Here are some reactions to the match from players and coaches
Solksjaer speaking to Sky Sports after the match, said;

‘Results wise to come and beat Tottenham is fantastic held on second half, they changed the system in the second but you’re allowed to have good goalkeeper.’

‘We did really well, when you have pace and then cleverness of Paul the plan was to go quick attack with pace, the goal was fantastically taken by Marcus.’
‘We worked on it for a week, we thought it would work and we have seen them and we thought it was going to be a good plan and it’s good we have different ways of playing and we showed we are ready to compete, second half we could have scored two or three ourselves so it wasn’t that one sided. ‘

‘The goal, that’s why we put Anthony and Rash wide of Jesse, he was a link player, that plan worked today.’

Paul Pogba, when asked what has changed under the new management said;

“I am enjoying playing football it was difficult with the system and tactics we used to play I like to be more attacking. I think my position there is when I feel the most comfortable.”

“The manager told me to get in the box and get goals because I will score if I’m in the box, Frank Lampard the one who makes those runs and scores a lot so if I can do that. ”

“That helps me I know Matic will be there and we can press high, that’s what I have been doing since the manager came I know I have security there and I have the freedom to go.’
‘That’s what we want, top four, we have to keep it up, the season is still on and we want to get back to the top which is where we belong.’

Rashford and De Gea, reacting to the match, said to Sky Sports;

Rashford: Most difficult we have had (under Solskjaer), hardest we had to work for result we put in a lot of work. We go home and prepare for the next game.

DDG: Yeah, especially because we won against a top team and we deserved to win we controlled the first half the second they had chances but we defended well and have three points.

I was feeling very well with first two saves but a great game for us and to get three points at Wembley and so we are happy.
