Following the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, Pastor Adeboye has broken his silence.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called for an end to the violence that has trailed xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other foreigners in South Africa.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Adeboye called for an end to the violence.
He said, “Please shun Violence, its dividends last a lifetime. Let us all embrace peace and remember that regardless of our race, colour or language, we are all of God.”
Nigerians and foreigners in South Africa have been the targets of attacks since a taxi driver, was killed in Pretoria last week by a suspected drug dealer.
In reprisal attacks, Nigerians have been attacked South African-owned businesses in the country.
