There are various ways you can let your man know you love him too without actually putting in words.
hile most women are great when it comes to expressing their feelings, guys aren’t too enthusiastic about all the mush and romance.
However, even if his actions don’t make you go ‘awww’, you do know, from the little things he does, that he cares. Well, it’s time to give the love back.
Here are 15 not-too-romantic (and simple enough for your emotionally-challenged man to understand) ways to say that you care.
Let him watch the match: Yes, this tops the list of being unromantic, but trust us, letting him watch TV is as good (almost) as giving him bedroom action. Let him watch that match and enjoy the attention OD you’ll get later
Let him go for boys nights out:Use it as a time to relax at home or call your friends over for a spa night. Get those DVDs out, pour out the wine and unwind!
Don’t nag: This is difficult, yes, but not impossible. It’s not that we love to nag, just that men need it for their own good. But every once in a while let him go without the nagging.
Buy him tickets to a game:Getting a game ticket is to a guy what a diamond is to a girl. Get the idea? Now do it.
Cook for him: The cliché ‘The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’ is absolutely true. No matter how much he loves eating out nothing beats a well-cooked homemade meal.
Spa nights: Instead of booking a massage for a couple, take the initiative and give him a spa experience right at home. A great way for him to relax, plus you can always ask him to return the favour later (wink).
Do his laundry: This is the best thing you can ever do. Pick up those dirty socks and give them a good wash and you might just end up with your that gorgeous bag you’ve been lusting after. But don’t make it a regular practice unless you love laundry-time.
Surprise him: Is there a trip that he always wanted to take? Or a gadget that he has been wanting forever? Well, get in on his hidden desires and act on them.
King for a day: Dedicate a whole day to doing whatever he wants, starting with breakfast in bed!
One night getaway: Find a hotel with a jacuzzi or one that is on a secluded beach and book it for one night. Need we say more?
Junk dose: Get him a basket of junk food and let him watch TV all day. Pure bliss for him and you can use the free time to catch up on your reading.
Concert haunts: If you ever browse through your guy’s iPod you’ll be shocked at his taste in music. From juvenile to plain crap, it will have everything. Make him happy and join him on one of those concert tours.
Let him be dirty: Gross as it might sound, give him a break from those regular grooming habits. Let him not shave while on holiday or take a day off from the bathroom. He’ll love you for it.
Boy toys: All men have this secret desire to own a boy toy (remote control cars, helicopters, train sets) but are too shy to actually go out and buy it or tell you about it. Find out what rules his childhood fantasy and get the boy toy home.
Declare a no-gift day: We know this is harsh, but tell a guy he doesn’t have to buy you a gift and he’ll be the happiest. Not that they are stingy; just the process of thinking and then buying a gift is too taxing for them. However, make sure you put in a catch; let them make up for the gift no-show by helping you with all the household chores for a week at least.
