Indigenous musical group, Street Billionaires have released their first project titled, “Street Born”. Having previously released a number of strong singles over the last two years including “Snooker” and “Owo Mi Da”, the group has finally put out a body of work.
The group – which consists of members, Candy, Gbafun, Lemon and Ijay – easily boasts one of the more inspiring come-up stories in music in recent memory. It is no surprise then that elements of this remarkable story are spread across “Street Born”.
The EP opens with the reflective, “Street Born”, on which the group’s members recount earlier hardships on the journey to getting signed. The album also features other tracks such as the culturally-driven “Yoruba Ni Mi” and the streetwise “Aprachapre”, which will certainly resonate with the group’s core demographic.
