Nigerian award winning singer and songwriter Simi lost the Lip Synching battle to Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba in the most recent episode of hit TV show, Lip Sync Battle Africa.
Hosted by TV Presenter and fashion icon Denrenle, along side South African’s Pearl Thusi, the Lip Sync Battle Africa episode aired on MTV Base (DSTV Channel 322) on Saturday, 20 May 2017 at 8PM (WAT).
Ali Kiba joined the long list of Africa’s hottest celebrities and entertainers who have won the Lip Sync Battle title. He took on one of the late South African musician Brenda Fassie’s hit Vuli Ndlela.
Ali Kiba impressed presenter Pearl Thusi and the audience with his dance moves as he beat his competitor Simi and took home the coveted Lip Sync Battle Africa winners belt.
The second season of the hugely successful show has been very exciting as it has featured more bops, more booty hops, more mic drops, more shade thrown and more sultry poses to a soundtrack of chart-topping hits.
As is customary, the stars were joined on stage by dancers and decked out in the most colorful outfits, wigs and props imaginable.
