Catalan giants FC Barcelona have expressed their interest to sign midfield sensation Paul Pogba from Juventus.
The Nou Camp based side have contacted the French player’s agent Mino Raiola about securing his services.
Pogba is amongst the promising youngsters that have have set the football firmament alight this season and his potential is second to none. Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has entrusted Ariedo Brieda, who is currently in charge of international market at the club, to approach Raiola and set things in motion.
Despite the FIFA ban imposedon Barcelona as regards the transfer of players until January 2016, Bartomeu has asked the Frenchman to be patient and stay on at Juventus until the ban is over.
The scenario is to agree on a deal before the current season ends and use Pogba’stransfer move as an electoral weapon reminiscent of what Joan Laporta did during his tenure with Ronaldinho.
