The song Yeba by Nigerian pop heavyweight Kiss Daniel is without a doubt one of the hottest songs of 2017. The track which is reminiscent of the 90s highlife music is heavy on percussion and horns with inconsistent chants and ad-libs that makes it an absolute jam.
While it is a very delightful record, some fans on Twitter have gone on to point that a certain line in the song that goes; ‘Uncle stop touching’ in some way encourages S3xual assault.
D song teaches our ladies to speak out against wat they haven’t consented 2 nd 4 d men to realise dat if a lady says No, No means No. Apologise nd don’t go further, hence d reply by d guy…”sorry madam” D fact dat a lady agrees 2 dance wit u doesn’t translate 2 S3xual consent https://t.co/LbfJuowJbI
